Jerome Synold is the managing partner of WF Synold & Associates. He specializes in U.S. and international probate and inheritance matters. Specifically, Mr. Synold specializes in international inheritance matters that have a nexus to the United States.  Mr. Synold has created complex estate plans for international clients with estates of all sizes and focuses his practice on estates with U.S. and foreign tax exposure. Mr. Synold acts as administrator for estates with U.S. situs assets and negotiates with financial institutions for the efficient release of U.S. situs funds by claiming applicable treaty benefits. 


Mr. Synold received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law where he received several CALI Excellence for the Future awards for his work in UCC Sales, International Trade, and Comparative Corporate Law.  Mr. Synold received his Bachelor Degree in Economics from the University of California of San Diego and a Master of Laws degree in European Business Law from Aix-Marseille III. Mr. Synold has studied in several foreign jurisdictions including South Africa where he received a certificate in South African Law from the University of Cape Town. Jerome Synold is licensed in California and the federal courts of the Southern District of California.
